Natalie has her Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications & Anthropology from Butler University and is currently completing her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University.
She is also trained in the brain-based trauma therapy, Brainspotting (Level 1) and Trauma Informed Yoga, in addition to her 200 RYT Yoga instructor certification.
Why Work With Natalie?
By bringing her full personhood into the therapy space, her intention is to facilitate a safe, warm space for you to journey into healing during your work together. As someone who has spent many years unpacking her own traumas, addictions and attachment wounds, Natalie offers abundant compassion and empathy to your growth and healing journey.
In addition, Natalie is passionate about guiding couples to greater intimacy with one another. Sometimes our busy schedules, parenthood or communication misunderstandings can cause strife in relationships. Couples therapy can guide you to greater depth in connection, understanding and increased intimacy with your partner.
Natalie’s therapeutic approach is rooted in mindfulness and connection through brain-body approaches. There are times where we all feel stuck, hopeless or we might be stumbling through life. As humans, we all innately struggle. Her belief is that these struggles (or traumas) find their way into our bodies and store themselves there. Throughout your work together, you will heal at the root of these struggles so that you can thrive, rather than just survive.
