Chas Bugge, LMSW (she/her)

 Meet Chas!

Trauma Therapist | Brainspotting Practitioner | LGBTQIA+ & Neurodivergence Affirming Clinician

Chas is a therapist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals navigating the lasting effects of trauma. Originally from the rainy (but cozy!) Pacific Northwest, she brings a grounded, compassionate presence to her work—alongside a rich background in social work, trauma healing, and embodied care.

As both a therapist and a person with lived experience as part of the LGBTQIA+ community and someone with a disability, Chas understands how important it is to be met with empathy, flexibility, and authenticity in the therapy room. Her work centers the healing process as uniquely individual, and she’s passionate about making therapy a space that is accessible, affirming, and truly human.

When she’s not in session, you might find her with a camera in her hands, on a walk with her dogs, or out seeing some live music!

Chas’s Approach:

Chas takes a whole-person, trauma-informed approach to her work, combining mindfulness, body-based awareness, and holistic practices to support clients in reconnecting with themselves and their inner wisdom. She collaborates closely with each client to create a personalized and flexible treatment plan, honoring their pace, their story, and their autonomy throughout the healing process.

In addition to weekly therapy, Chas offers trauma therapy intensives for clients seeking to go deeper into their healing in a focused and supported way. These extended sessions allow space for immersive processing and integration, helping clients create meaningful shifts in a shorter period of time.

With over 8 years of experience working with neurodivergent populations, Chas brings a depth of understanding and attunement to the unique needs of each client. Her work is deeply informed by principles of neurodiversity-affirming care, and she is passionate about creating therapeutic spaces where clients feel truly seen, respected, and supported.

With specialized experience in working with trauma survivors, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, and the neurodivergent community, Chas is known for creating spaces where people feel genuinely safe to show up exactly as they are. She integrates Brainspotting and somatic techniques to support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and deeper self-awareness.
