Meet Loren!
Trauma Therapist I Brainspotting Practitioner I Couples and Individuals I Military/First Responders
Hi, I’m Loren Lyons, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I work with people who spend their days showing up in crisis, carrying responsibility, and making difficult decisions, often while putting their own needs last. I support first responders and healthcare professionals, as well as individuals and couples, who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the cumulative stress that comes from caring for others under constant pressure.
Outside the therapy room, I am a Swiftie, which means I believe in reflection, resilience, and the importance of naming what we feel, even when it is complicated. I am also a parent to two French bulldogs who remind me daily that presence, humor, and rest are essential parts of staying human.
If you are used to being the steady one, the helper, or the healer and you are ready for a space where you receive care too, I would be honored to walk alongside you in this next chapter.
With over ten years of experience in community mental health, Loren has a strong background in addiction and sexual trauma. She recognizes that burnout and trauma are not always tied to a single defining event, but often build gradually through long shifts, moral injury, constant vigilance, and the pressure to keep going even when the weight becomes heavy.
Approach
Loren strives to create a warm, inviting therapeutic space where clients feel understood without having to overexplain. Her approach is thoughtful, flexible, and grounded in real life. She integrates multiple therapeutic modalities and tailors treatment to each client’s needs, helping them process what they have carried, reconnect with themselves and their relationships, and find steadier footing both on and off the job.
Whether working with job related trauma, relationship conflict, or emotional exhaustion, Loren moves at a pace that respects your nervous system and your story.
